At the clinic, a phlebotomist will take a quick blood sample from your arm and handle the rest. This in-clinic service is smooth and often takes only a few minutes.

‍Home Visit (+£65): For the ultimate convenience, choose a home visit. For an extra £65, a qualified nurse will come to your home (or workplace) at a scheduled time to perform the blood draw. This means you can complete your NIPT without stepping outside, perfect for those with busy schedules, limited mobility, or who just prefer privacy. The nurse will ensure the sample is properly collected and will take care of dispatching it to the lab. Many Cambridge clients appreciate this white-glove service for its comfort and ease.

The NHS provides NIPT in limited circumstances. As of now, NHS Cambridgeshire follows national guidelines which offer NIPT mainly to expectant mothers who receive a higher-risk result on the conventional first trimester screening (the combined test) or have other specific risk factors.
